iZombie, Vol. 2: uVampire

iZombie, Vol. 2: uVampire (iZombie #2)

by

In uVAMPIRE, Gwen dines on the grey matter of a person who knew her as a child – and things quickly get complicated. Meanwhile, ghost-girl Ellie learns a few tricks from Amon the mummy; Spot the were-terrier goes to the comics shop and meets someone from Gwen’s past, the mad scientist Galatea engages in a bit of grave-robbing; and the monster-hunters tackle the town’s vampire problem once and for all. - from Goodreads
It was great to see more and more of the characters backgrounds developing. Gwen is trying to remember her life before being undead, Ellie is wondering if she can help Scott with his grandpa issue with possession, and Scott himself is finding it harder to keep his secret from both his friends. And as I read more and more the more nudity I encounter. It is a relief to be reading something actually meant for my age or being an adult. (I read way too many YA books.)
What makes this comic extra unique besides its plot is the bonus drawings and sideline comic stories like the one about Harriet: The Happy Ghost. It parodies Casper and iZombie and it is genius! Check out my screen shot!
